Dr. Lorenz F. Olbrich

CEO and Co-Founder

Lorenz leads LiftOFF Technologies, holding an Oxford PhD and an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs. He has worked on multiple next-gen battery chemistries and is an expert for conversion cathodes. With experience as an R&D engineer, researcher, venture scout, and strategy consultant, he combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership.

Prof. Mauro Pasta

Co-Founder and Scientific Advisor

Mauro is a Professor at Oxford and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He leads the SOLBAT project at The Faraday Institution and has co-founded three battery startups. Previously a postdoc at Stanford, he holds a PhD in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Milan. His work has been cited

over 17,000 times.
